Why do I not get lyrics even though I purchased the song from iTunes prior to purchasing Music?

I am not able to get lyrics for songs that I previously purchased from iTunes prior to subscribing to Music. However, if I search the same song from Music I can get the lyrics. I understand that Apple wants to make money by having customers subscribe to Music; however, why can't Apple provide lyrics to songs that I have already purchased from iTunes (Apple)?

I’m having the same exact issue. I just renewed my subscription to Apple Music and the albums I bought on iTunes that I used to be able to get the real-time lyrics for while listening on Apple Music, I no longer have the option for. For example, the new Taylor swift albums (the 2020 album not the 2021) I had been able to get the real time lyrics for but not anymore and I only just noticed that today. Not at all sure why it’s not working now.
