Macbook pro update

Is there a way to update my 2011 macbook pro to a operating system that allows me to download pages, numbers, or office 365?

Your MacBook Pro 2011 should be capable of running macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra. Apples Pages and Numbers software should work with that if you can find the installer for early versions.

❓- Is your Mac compatible with macOS High Sierra?

That depends on the age of your Mac. Check the requirements here:

These Mac models are compatible with macOS High Sierra:

• MacBook (Late 2009 or newer)

• MacBook Pro (Mid 2010 or newer)

• MacBook Air (Late 2010 or newer)

• Mac mini (Mid 2010 or newer)

• iMac (Late 2009 or newer)

• Mac Pro (Mid 2010 or newer)

For details about your Mac model, click the Apple  icon at the top left of your screen and choose About This Mac.


- Download the macOS 10.13 High Sierra upgrade installer here:

(Don’t use FireFox for this link)

The download will place the "Install macOS High Sierra" application in the Applications folder. Double-click the installer to begin the upgrade process.
