Which Safari settings are wrong?

Why does an annoying mini Safari window come in from the right now when I click an emailed or other link on my iPad Pro? I just want the old main Safari window. Either I inadvertently changed some Safari or other setting, or one of the latest OS updates messed with them.

Sounds like you activated Safari in "Slide Over" mode.
