I've had an Apple Plus subscription which I paid for the year since October and now I bought my first Apple product and they're giving me a free year but they're not letting me add it on to my subscription which seems crazy. Apple is such a great company and you would think that this would be something that would be a no-brainer for them.

With the automated redeem procedure, current or previous subscribers may not get to see the redeem button. For Macs, users will have to sign in additionally into the TV app (menu Account) for the eligibility of the subscription with the Apple ID account.
