Since the latest OS and iMovie updates I am unable to create videos because of frequent crashes when trying to share a project.
Of course I have tried all the possible solutions already!

iMovie 10.2.4
Go to System Preferences/Language and Region and change the Language and Region to United States-English. Some other combinations might also work, but we have not gotten any data on that as yet.
