Cloud status: "No longer available" in Apple Music

I added a song from Apple Music to one of my playlists.

It immediately has the status "No longer available" although I directly added it from Apple Music. Often the album art is not showing but the song remains playable.

How can I solve this? I already tried removing and adding it again to no avail.

Hi RichardinNLs,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help with Apple Music and the message "No Longer Available".

Is this happening with all songs?

Is Sync Library on: Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music? If it is, try toggling it off and back on.

Do you us Apple Music on other devices like an iPhone? Does it happen there too?

Let us know more details.

Have a fantastic day!

This is not happening with all songs. I don't see a pattern why some songs are no longer available compared to songs that are available. A song can be on for instance 2 albums. 1 is not available anymore (but still playable) and 1 is still available. Both songs I find in an Apple Music search.

I tried already switching syncing on and off.

On iTunes for Windows and Music on macOS they both have the same status. Both are perfectly playable on an Android phone..
