Range of the AirTag?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. AirTag uses Bluetooth for proximity finding so the range is roughly 30 feet. If you are within that range, you can play a sound to locate the missing item. However, AirTag also uses other Find My devices to triangulate its location so you are still able to locate the item if it is outside of Bluetooth range.
