Itunes will not sync all my songs (help please)

I don't have it in manual mode and all the songs are checked on my itunes, but when i go to sync it with my ipod classic brand new cds that I just bought and put into my itunes will not sync. I am listening to them on my computer so its on my itunes. I uploaded them via itunes. Can somebody please help. I have a few albums doing this

Which iPod?
Any chance your library is larger than the iPod? If so, iTunes would have created a playlist that fit onto the iPod and it is syncing only that playlist.
Select the iPod in iTunes.
Click the Music tab across the top.
What is selected?

Sorry, I have an ipod classic with lots of free space left. When I click music it is set for sync entire music collection. Even if I hit select music the albums are not there. I just bought the albums today and uploaded them via itunes. They are on my itunes because I am listening to them today. Like I said I have lots and lots of free space left.

Im not sure how can i check? they are in my regular library. I just restored my ipod to see if they will be added then.

It is listed under compilations. I guess I should ask how come it's there and how come it doesn't show up under artist. I have quite a few of them here. some of them show up in artist but a good majority of them don't.

Is there a way I can change this setting so that they dont show up as a compilation? some of them are simply greatest hits albums or even worst just regular albums.

Select all songs from a single album.
Right click - get info.
Click the Options tab and uncheck Part of compilation.
If they are are a Greatest Hits, I suggest adding the Artist name to the Album name such as *Eagles - Greatest Hits*.
If you don't, all *Greatest Hits* albums may get grouped together.
Also add the group name to the *Album Artist*.
