How do I update Safari on my iPhone 12 Pro Max

You can’t update Safari as a stand alone update. Safari is updated when the iOS versions are updated. If you are getting a message from certain websites that Safari needs to be updated to use the site, that is more of an indication that the website needs to be updated to work with the current version of iOS Safari.

If you're using an iOS version older than 14.6, use the Software Update function in Settings or update it from a computer. Otherwise, contact the website's staff.
