iPhone 12 mini freezing

My iPhone 12 mini has been freezing and not responding to touch since I got it. At least 1x a day for about a minute. Screen replacements, software updates, and setting resets have not fixed the issue. There are many other people with the same issue. I pay for apple care to fix these issues but I need to pay $100 to get another phone? I’ve made 2 trips to the Apple store already.
