iPad OS 14.6 mic/audio problems (PUBG Mobile mic glitch, iMovie audio input error)

My iPad Pro 12.9 inch (2020) has had microphone issues since a few months ago. I play PUBG Mobile and whenever I turn on my microphone, I no longer hear any of the game's sounds anymore. Furthermore, whenever I use iMovie to add commentary to my game footage, I often get the message, "Unable to obtain use of the audio input device." Sometimes restarting the iPad helps, but sometimes no. I already tried resetting all settings in the iPad and multiple restarts. I also tried every "fix" on Google search (going into Accessibility, Audio, tweaking this and that, turning this setting on and off). But nothing works. I'm convinced that there is a huge problem with PUBG Mobile, iMovie, the iPad OS 14.6, or all three.

I'm posting this not looking for a fix, just letting everyone know because for some reason, nobody is talking about it even though I know a few of my friends are also having the same issue.
