AppleTV volume control glitch

When watching tv via Apple TV, the video moves forward or back when I use the volume control. how do I stop this?

AppleTV 4k audio video break-up with one app: YouTubeTV We have two 4K smart TVs. One is hooked up to a new AppleTV 4k. The other is hooked up to a AppleTV HD. When watching any streaming channel on YouTubeTV through the AppleTV 4k, we experience frequent break up of audio, and periodic black screen (1-2 seconds). When we switch out the AppleTV 4k with the previous gen. AppleTV HD, the problem goes away. Has anyone experienced this issue?
