iPad Air screen display
When I go to turn my iPad on it just has a backlit blue/black screen but no display comes up. If I try a couple of times it eventually turns on. What is causing this?

Hello Dun0403
Welcome to Apple Support Communities!
If we understand your post correctly, your iPad Air starts up blank and after several attempts you eventually get it to turn on. We'd like to help!
We recommend checking to see if your iPad Air is eligible for the iPad Air (3rd generation) Service Program for Blank Screen Issue
Also, check out this article for help with the blank screen: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen
If you're still having issues we recommend contacting Apple Support directly.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Take care!
