iOs 9 Notes undo delete

Hi, I deleted a Note by mistake on my iPad3 (iOs9). How to recover? I do not see any Undo or "Recently Deleted" folder. Thanks.

If there is no way to Undo, is there any App compatible with iOS 9 in which I can be sure to NEVER loose data in such a way? Thanks.

Your only chance is if you have a backup made when the Note was on the iPad and you have not made a backup since that time. If you do, you can restore your iPad to that backup. Otherwise you are out of luck. Getting any kind of app at this time that is compatible with iOS 9 is going to be next to impossible.

If no recent or older iPad data backup, that note is gone.

Unfortunately, your iPad is too old, today.

Apple ended support for all 8-10-year old iOS devices nearly 5 years, ago, in 2016.

Third party app developers abandoned and stopped supporting these 8-10-year old iOS devices nearly 3 years, ago, in 2018.

There are, virtually, NO MORE third party apps available from the iOS App Store, any longer!

Third party compatible apps for such old devices are few and far between, now, in 2021.

This includes apps for both iOS 9 AND iOS 10 devices!

Sorry, but this is the reality for ALL 8-10-year old AND OLDER iOS devices now. Especially now in 2021!

I am sorry that you had to learn all of this, but this does not change any of the facts regarding these very old iOS devices.

Sorry.

You are just grasping at the air, at this point.

I do not know what you used for iPad/iOS data recovery tool/apps, but I I am aware of none and have been using iPads for the past 11 years.

There is, also, NOTHING that will allow you to access the iOS file structure system.

if the note is still on your iPhone, you can either airdrop it from your iPhone to your iPad by activating AirDrop on both devices by activating AirDrop feature on both devices.

OR

Save your iPhone notes to iCloud and access that note from iCloud on your iPad from the Notes app there and transfer/copy this note to your iPad Notes app.

Best of Luck to You!

Thanks for your reply.

I tried using some recovery apps but they could not even see the undeleted Notes that are there.

How about navigating the file system in iPad. Is there a tool to do that?

About an App to type like Notes, is there a terminal-type app that access files in cloud? I do not believe that Notes was really doing that.

Note that I can see the Notes of the iPad on my iPhone (iOs14). Still on the iPhone I cannot see "Recently deleted" ... but it should have seen the Note (that got deleted on iPad) disappearing. Note also that, strange enough, these Notes are not seen in iCloud. Any idea on this?
