Does fast charging wear on your battery more that slow charging?

I’ve been wondering if fast charging does more wear on your battery than regular (slow) charging.

For example, if I do 200 complete 0-100% charging cycles while charging at 18 watts, will it wear more then charging at 5 watts.

Fast Charging will not reduce the battery life.

You should make sure that you charge your device as recommended to avoid compromising battery life and can find out more about fast charging > Fast charge your iPhone

You will find this helpful regarding maximising your battery life > Maximizing Battery Life and Lifespan

There isn’t much you can do to maintain battery health, but there is one thing that will help: The absolute best way to improve the life of your battery long term is to enable Optimized Battery Charging (Settings/Battery/Battery Health) and charge the device overnight, every night. The battery will fast charge to 80%, then pause. During the night the phone will use mains power instead of battery power, allowing the battery to “rest”, and thus reducing the need to charge the battery quite as often. The phone will resume charging to reach 100% when you are ready to use your phone; it will “learn” your usage pattern. There are no other charging protocols that are better than this, and few that are as good.
