Apple ID and icloud
So i previously had my phone signed into an apple id and i signed out and into my old one id now to update apps it asks me for the password to the apple id i’m currently not signed into. A fix?

Just provide it. Apps downloaded with one Apple ID, are forever tied to the Apple ID that downloaded them and will always require it and its password to update.
You don’t need to sign out and in with a different Apple ID to update. The updates will just request the Password for the Apple ID that downloaded them and you can just enter it and move on.

Nope. And yes, the only way to change that is to delete them and redownload them with the current Apple ID.
As a general rule of thumb, unless you have a very very good reason to get a new Apple ID, you should strive to keep only one updated and accessible.
there any way i can change that or do i just delete the apps and re download them with my current apple id
