Score Editor-no staves/ other issues

Last first, for me the score editor in Logic is a must for orchestration, composition, and score prep.

Now, what do you mean by "no staves"? Are you saying that when you select a region and open the score editor that you see nothing at all? Key here is selecting a region first. May seem like a basic thing to suggest, but it's the one factor that I can think of that would result in your not seeing anything. And it might not seem obvious if you're new to the score editor.

Actually, there's another case where you'll see a score display that says, er, "nothing to display". Easily explained.

So can you provide some more detail about what's going on?
