I applied the Mojave security update (10.14.6) this morning, and now when I click in a Finder window, other windows disappear!
The apps are still open and when I click them in the dock they come back, but this is really annoying.
Any suggestions?
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.14
In Sys Prefs>Mission Control, uncheck the top 3 boxes.
The reboot did nothing, however I clear chrome browser items, then quit and restarted chrome, and everyone else started playing together again... Very strange, because opening a finder window not only hid chrome, but it hid several other windows from different apps as well.
Things are behaving now.

Reboot your computer and see if the problem goes away.
If that doesn't fix the issue, see if the problem still happens in Safe mode (hold the shift key down at startup). It takes longer to safe boot so be patient.

Does the problem persist while in Safe mode?
Exit safe mode by restarting your Mac normally and re-evaluate the issue again after a normal reboot.
This is not change anything, but thank you. I'm going to try the reboot in a little while.
