Trying to download microsoft office 365

When I do the download it says my MacOS needs to be 10.4.0 or later. I have went to system preferences and went to updates and it says no updates available. Does this mean I wont be able to use this computer? Is there a way to fix this?

Look into the Free LibreOffice, it handles MS Office files like Word & Excel, & Page Layout…

Also UpGrades won't show as UpDates...
