missing emails

this morning when i went to my inbox there were no emails there. but some of my new emails popped into my junk mail, only some though. when i scroll down my junk it only shows the email i’ve gotten 3 years ago. when i get sent an email it goes to junk. but the mails that have an ongoing conversation is saved. but not all of them
