Why my Facebook and messenger quit whenever i open it

Try a restart > Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Delete the app and re-download it from the app store.

If you have an add-on VPN client, remove it and try again.

If that then still fails to launch, check with Facebook support, as it’s their app.

Remove any add-on VPN client app that has been installed, and also remove any add-on “security” tools, and restart your iPhone.

Restart your Wi-Fi router.
