Cannot add my Apple Card payment method

Topped on add payment method & tapped on my Apple Card to add a payment method to my Apple ID. I double clicked successfully but message pops up “Unable to add card”! US Apple ID and a resident of California. No change to my Apple ID or Location in US Please help. Any advice welcone

I can't add my cards as an Apple ID payment method Added working cards and which are allowed to make international and local payments but still it says declined. I can’t install any new apps or upgrade existing kindly suggest. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Try these suggestions:

If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

If none solve your issue, contact Apple Support directly:

Thank you. My Apple Card works in my iPhone wallet perfectly. Cannot add the Apple Card to my Apple ID! Unable to add card! Is this a glitch?
