Connect cell with image

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to connect a cell with an image? For example, if I have several options in a pop-up menu - can I then connect these options in the pop-up menu with a frame that changes image depending on which option is selected?

It depends on what you are looking to do. Here is an example of the kind of thing that can be done. The first screenshot is the setup, the second is with columns hidden and a filter on.

Table 1 is a popup with several names in it, including "Bill Jones".

Table 2 column A is a list of those same names.

Table 2 column B has their photos as image fills.

Table 2 column C formula =Table 1::A$1=A

Filter on Table 2 is "show rows where column C text is TRUE"

Hide columns A and C

End result:

This is workable for small photos and few photos. I am pretty sure the full-size photos are stored in the Numbers file. The file size can balloon pretty quickly.
