My wife got my boarding pass, took a picture of it, and emailed to me. I tried to add to my wallet but nothing happened. Please help.

No transferring is allowed.
It all needs to be accomplished from your device.
A common sequence in an airline’s app might be:
1) Check-in and/or request mobile boarding pass(es).
2) View pass(es) on your phone’s screen and click “add” [to wallet].
3) Accept pass into wallet
It will not work that way. (as you discovered)
Passes need to be added to your wallet “directly” - generally using the airline’s app - or depending on the airline - possibly from their web site.
Can she transfer to me, and then add to wallet?
