Looking to stream music at Apple's highest sampling rate however we seem limited with the iPhone using a Lightening to HDMI converter at the Receiver input. This conversion throttles the sampling rate to 24 bit/ 44.1 KHz ALAC. Are there wired alternatives for the above that support higher Apple lossless sample rates ?
Is Apple R&D even contemplating transmission of their Lossless Audio Music streaming via wireless WiFi AirPlay ???

If your DAC has an USB input you can reach up to 192 kHz sample rate.

Thanks Marco. Unfortunately none of my Amps support a USB audio input. I have HDMI however which I have determined supports PCM audio sampling at up to 192 Khz. Lightening to HDMI convertors are readily available as are Mini Display Port to HDMI commonly used on the Microsoft Surface.
