where can i find my imei on my ipod?

Find the serial number for your iPad Pro, iPad, or iPod touch on the back of the device. On an iPad (Wi-Fi + cellular model), you'll also find the IMEI.

Go to Settings > General and tap About.

Look for the serial number. You might need to scroll down to find the IMEI/MEID, and ICCID.

It's an iPod, it doesn't have an IMEI number.

The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is used to identify telecommunications devices. i.e. mobile phones (and iPads with a cellular function).
