Downloading apps

Every time I try to download an app or make in app purchases it works well until I have to double click the home button then it says payment not complete

To fix this problem I would recommend trying the steps below in the following order:


  1. Try going into settings and then Apple ID (which is at the top of the page) and see if you need to sign in again or resolve some other issue
  2. Check that there is no outstanding purchases in your Purchase History that have not been settled
  3. Try adding another payment method to your Apple ID (or adding one in the first place if you do not have one)
  4. Log out and back into your Apple ID
  5. Try a different Apple ID (and if this solved your problem please contact Apple to see if they can resolve the issue on their side.)


I hope one of these solves your problem. Apple ID/App Store issues can be tricky to troubleshoot since there may be something on Apple's side that neither of us know about so contacting Apple is not a bad idea.
