Removal of screen protector during repair

I would like to know if it is a standard procedure to remove a screen protector from a MacBook Pro 16inch when being repaired (under warranty) to replace the logic board.

this was done with a authorized repair service provider, but in a dodgy country so concerned my screen (possibly other parts) have been switched with knock off parts.
