How to reset iphone 8

My iPhone won't start up after turning on safe mode. When I turned on the safe mode, I connected the phone to the macbook via a usb cable and I wanted to reset the phone, but I kept getting this message: The software for the iPhone "iPhone" was damaged during the download.

Check out this article for how to restore your phone to factory settings https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252


Assuming there is no physical damage to the phone, the instructions and possibly the links contained within should get you up and running again. It might also help to use a different computer to complete the restoration. Good luck with the restoration.
