Home Button, and overheating

So today, when i woke up, my iPhone said it was overheated and needed to cool. So i took it off the charger and put it off for a while, and the battery was at 12% which was weird. The home button wasn't working, and was like stuck. A few minutes later it was dead. I put it in front of a fan for an additional 2 hours and it has the same problem. So basically whenever I charge it it dies, even if i power it off. The home button also isn't working, and I cant sign into my phone because of the "temperature" is there anything I could use? thanks and have an awesome day!
