Your phone cannot get a virus from any source. However, scam alerts that your phone has a virus can appear several ways; from visiting sketchy web sites, from apps that don’t vet their ads well, as email, texts, and as calendars. Some sites trick you into installing a spam calendar by offering you something for free. That’s why deggie asked if it was in a calendar, because there are specific instructions for removing spam calendars.

Was this in your calendar or just a pop-up? If the latter delete it and don’t worry about it.
Thank you so much! I went ahead and deleted all browser history I try thought that’s what it was but wanted to be sure. I appreciate your help.
Thank you! I appreciate you responding! No it wasn’t in the calendar just a pop up. Are you saying if it came into my calendar it could have been a virus? Never hurts to know things.
Thank you so much for all the information!!! I have been an iPhone user since #4 and have never had a pop up like that before. May you stay safe and hopefully enjoy the holiday🇺🇸
