back up now greyed out
I'm trying to back up my iPHone 8. My iOS is up to date. I want to back up to This Computer.
The encrypt local back up and back up now buttons are greyed out.
What can I do?

Mount the Hard Drive:
All you may need to do is mount the hard drive. It should expected work.
- Go to: Applications
- Select: Utilities
- Select: the drive (on the left side of the screen)
- Click: the Mount button, while the drive is selected
Try this once more.
