HELP - Can't remove Zoosk messenger from my toolbar or computer

Can anyone help?

I've tried removing the programme from my applications but they don't seem to delete. The icon can't be dropped from the programmes bar either. I can't even turn my mac off because it keeps timing out because of this blimmin programme!

I am stumped as what to do.

Did it come with an uninstaller?
How are you trying to delete it?
You should be able to remove the icon on the menubar by command-clicking
on it and dragging it off the menu bar.
Have you checked the site from which you got the program?

hi thanks for your reply.

I don't know if it came with an uninstaller.
I tried to delete the programme out of the applications.
It won't let me delete the icon by 'command/click/drag'.
I have not yet contacted the site, which i will soon.

i've written to Zoosk and an automated reply stated that i wouldn't get a real person reply unless i became a premium member which i have to pay for....what a rip off, that is disgusting!!!!
