Cannot send mail but can receive them

My mail was functioning normally until one day it displayed an error message stating that the connection to the outgoing server "p27-smtp.mai.me.com" had failed. In Settings > Mail > Accounts, additional outgoing mail servers can be configured for mail accounts.

I contacted Apple Support, but they were unable to assist me and were unable to determine what was wrong. I read plenty of articles but found no solutions. I can only access my Apple mail through a browser, such as Chrome or Safari, but it does not work on any of my Apple devices, including my Mac, iPad, or iPhone.

If you had the same issue, please contact me or respond to this question so that we can figure it out and fix it.

If you can't send an email on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

  1. When you make an iOS or iPadOS backup in iCloud or iTunes, it backs up your mail settings, but not your email. ...
  2. Make sure your device is connected to the Internet.
  3. Check with your email service provider to find out if there's a service outage.
