Go to Settings/[your name]/iCloud and turn on Keychain. On a Mac go to the Menu, System Preferences, Apple ID (on Mojave and earlier instead click iCloud) and turn on Keychain. This will sync stored passwords across devices. If you had not set this up previously you will need to enter the new passwords on each device separately. And some business accounts will not allow you to propagate passwords between devices; if you have any accounts like that you will have to enter the new passwords on each device.

I am still unsure of how to proceed. I am in the process of changing all my passwords due to a hack. Are you telling me I must manually enter new passwords on each device? Suppose I create a new business account and create a password on one device and save it into password. Won't Keychain sent that to the other devices?

If not it looks like I will have to delete all the passwords on a device and then manually enter the password on each account I attempt to access from a device. If I delete all the passwords on the IPad and then change and save passwords on the Mac computer, will Keychain enable me to later log into a business (non-Apple) account on the IPad or IPhone or will I have to manually update the password in each device?

This also implies that every time I change a password, I will need to manually update all devices. Unfortunately, several of the government sites I visit frequently require a password change every 90 days.

Lawrence. Thanks for trying to help. As I wrote earlier, I have Keychain on for all 3 devices. All the passwords are currently. Synced. However when I change a password using one device Keychain does not update the other two devices. There must be a way to not have to manually put changed new passwords into every device, I just haven’t stumbled onto it yet. Thanks again for trying to help.
