iPad first generation with Wi-Fi and 3G cellular, 16 GB, released in 2010.
First, that iPad will be able to run approximately nothing for apps other than the built-in apps, as it is limited to iOS 5. iOS (now called iPadOS) 14 is current, with iPadOS 15 currently in beta. Apps tend to support the three most recent versions, with a few supporting further back. ~No available apps will support back to iOS 5. And that iPad will not be able to make a secure network connection to any services or any websites.
As for your question? Most any 10W or 12W USB-A charger should work, as will USB-A ports in computers that can offer 10W and 12W power as some can. That iPad model shipped with a 10W adapter. 5W isn’t enough power.
Here’s the Apple 12W: https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MGN03AM/A/apple-12w-usb-power-adapter

This if the battery hasn’t failed, which is fairly likely in a ~decade old iPad.
Carrier support for 3G cellular is disappearing.
I wouldn’t spend any money on that iPad, outside of a museum exhibit, nostalgia, or similar.

I, totally, agree with Mr. Hoffman.
That iPad is over 11-years old, now.
Nothing supports it and that very old built-in Web browser is no longer secure and safe to use on the modern Internet.
Also, that battery is on borrowed and could fail at any time with NO internal battery replacements.
Other than purchasing another 12W Apple power/charging adapter, that you can always use with other Apple devices, I would NOT put any more money into that 11-year old iPad.
Its days are done and gone.
It’s 2021, now. A WHOLE LOT has happened with iPads and iOS ( now known as iPadOS ) in the past 11 years.
It is really time to seriously consider a purchase of a new iPad model OR a much, MUCH “newer” and less expensive, refurbished or used iPad models, from better known, trusted Apple product/device retailers/resellers, some locally or from online, on the Web/Internet, capable of running the latest iPadOS versions.
There are more than PLENTY of less expensive, newer, older iPad models that can run the latest, current versions of iPadOS.
Sorry & Best of Luck to You!
Apple no longer sells the type of power/charging cable that you need for that old an iPad.
Did you lose the power/charge cable that, originally, came with that iPad?
If you have NOT been able to charge that iPad in a very long time, the battery in that iPad maybe already permanently dead.
You need a 30-pin dock connector to USB-A cable for that iPad model.
Here is a reputable, Apple-centric company that sells its own brand of high quality cables to Apple devices and computers.

Also, check online places, like Amazon, for similar, high quality, 30-pin dock connector to USB-A cables, as well.
Best of Luck to You!
Thanks for the advice. Now I know which power adapter, but I would still need a chartering cable- which is sold separately. Can you give me the model and description?
thank you. That was very helpful.
