I pause a movie, my screen becomes black (like blinking effect)

Hi, i would like to check what is this? Do i need to install an antivirus software?

beside that, just now when i pause a movie, my screen become black (like blinking effect). this never seen before

Since we can't see what you are referring to, it would help if you can be more descriptive on exactly what you are seeing. Macs don't get viruses, but they can be "infected" with adware/malware which can appear to be similar to a virus.


It would also help us if you can provide us with your exact MacBook Pro model & the current version of macOS that it is running.
