Invite Family to share icloud storage
cannot add any family member. The message I get is "Stop sharing with family". Yet I am the only on listed, and I am the organizer. Any suggestions ? ........... Harry

Yes, I did. I tried it now by setting up Family Sharing by starting from the member I tried to invite, and invite myself and lo and behold it worked in reverse, except the family member is now the organizer. Strange, but that is the way it worked. Remains to be seen now, if we will be double-charged for the 200GB!?
