Cracked Screen on MacBook Pro

I noticed smashed glass on the corner of my MacBook Pro. I just payed it off and want to get it fixed. I only have the limited warranty that expires mid month. Will it be covered? If not, can I still get AppleCare? TY

I wanted to schedule an appointment at the Apple Store on 5th Ave in Manhattan however Apple.com only gives me options for apple product partner locations that do not take apple care? How do I make an appointment somewhere within the NYC 5 Boroughs to fix my Mac UNDER AppleCare?
