i cannot connect any charging cord to my ipad Pro.
What can I do if my IPad Pro will not connect to the charger cord anymore? There is no debris in the ‘slot’

Are you certain that you are using the correct cable?
2018/2020/21021 models of iPad Pro and the 2020 iPad Air have a USB-C connection; all other models of iPad, in common with all models of iPhone, use an Apple Lightning connection. USB-C and Lightning are not interchangeable.
