I need to send my text messages to my email
iPhone 12, iOS 14
You are speaking of a conversation, a conversation where there are multiple responses inside the conversation, right? If you are and you held your fingers on just one of the messages in that conversation and then tapped More..... a circle will appear to the left of every response in the conversation. Tap every circle on the left in the conversation and each circle will turn blue with a check mark in it. Then use the forward button on the right hand corner to send it to your email.
Ah, this — “Then use the forward button on the right hand corner to *send it to your email.*” — is the part I was missing.
It’s not appearing in my mailbox (inbox, spam, etc) but that’s likely an email issue.
Thanks so much for your help.
Open a message.
Hold your finger on it
Tap More.....
Tap forward arrow bottom right hand corner
Enter email address and then tap blue upward facing arrow
How to select and send to email several messages in a thread, in essence the complete conversation? The steps described above worked for only one message at a time.
After you tapped the forward arrow, you DID enter your email address, then send, yes?
Even if they are all lit up I only get the one I originally held
