Go ti Finder/Preferences/Sidebar/Favorites and check iCloud Drive. Then go to the files you want stored in iCloud and drag them to the iCloud Drive Finder Sidebar icon.


You can also go to System Preferences/iCloud/iCloud Drive to make sure the box is checked. Then click Options and check what item you want to sync.
