When using Siri to set an alarm, Siri announces wrong alarm time, but correct time shown
In late May, I got a new SE.
When using Siri to set an alarm, Siri will announce an alarm set but will state a time either 4 hours or 16 hours later than the alarm later than the alarm set.
Looking at the alarm on the screen, the correct time is set, just Siri announces 4 or 16 hours later.
This is not consistent, it probably happens about 25% of the time, but not on any consistent schedule, some are in the day, some at night, it appears to be a random occurrence.
Sometimes the phone will state the correct alarm time for the entire day, other times will state the wrong time 5 times in a row.
This only happens with a request through Siri to set an alarm.
If Siri is asked what time it is, Siri will always state the correct time.
The phone was reset, updated, and erased and reset as per Apple phone support and reviewed at Apple store.
Each attempt was followed by an incorrect Siri announcement within 24 hours.
I was given a replacement phone, another SE.
While testing the new phone several times during the first two days I had the phone, Siri announced the wrong time on two occasions.
Both times announcing 4 hours in the future, but showing the correct time for the alarm.
The phones time settings have been reviewed by apple and appear correct for Eastern Time.
This is now two phones with the same odd problem.
Before I go back to the apple store, any suggestions?
