2017 MacBook Pro

I've been having an issue charging my device here and there. My computer will tell me it's not charging.

I have to unplug my Knaive adapter and then fight with the cord and the brick in order to get it to charge. It's become really sensitive.

Never had an issue before.

I've had this computer since Dec 1, 2018. So 3 years.

Could it be the cable? Could it be the brick?

Anyone else experience this problem? How do I fix it?


I've been thinking about buying a new cable and brick for this to see if that will be the problem.

I have not been using an Apple brand charging cable. It's too short, I have a 6 foot cable I've been using off of Amazon.

Apple sells a 3 prong extension for there magsafe charger.
