Third party devices in HomeKit

I had to change wifi network.

as soon as I did that all

of my devices obviously disconnected from the Home app.


I was able to reconnect all of my Apple devices, but not a single third party device will rejoin.


I have reset everything a dozen times, made sure network settings were 2.4gz where needed, googled everything I can think of and tried everything anybody has suggested. Nothing.


i decided to hook up the old mesh system and set it up again to see what would happen and even that didn’t do anything.


what was working one day is not the next.


I even deleted my Home set up and started from scratch.


it just won’t work with any third brand devices other than Apple.


devices include Leviton switches and dimmers, Meross smart plugs.


help!

Thanks for the response. It's really the oddest thing. I spend the whole day yesterday trying everything I could think of with no success. I'm the type of guy that can't leave an issue like this alone so it was around 2am when I finally decided to quit and call it a day.


I woke up this morning and got back to it. I decided to try to connect one of the switches again. It worked. So I tried another, it worked too. I went through all the switches, dimmers, plug and other devices and for whatever reason, they all connected and are working fine now.


No idea at all what made the difference from 2am to 9am, but something changed and something started working again.
