Hello,
I noticed that my Safari favorites were updated with sites I've never had there before. These include Yahoo, Bing, Google, Wikipedia, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, The Weather Channel, Yelp, and TripAdvisor. I didn't add these. Was this part of a recent update?
I'm running Safari 13.1.2 on Mac OS X High Sierra 10.13.6.

Thanks for updating us. We're glad to hear that you were able to remove those unwanted bookmarks. It's hard to say would might have caused this issue to occur. Updating your macOS wouldn't have include those links. It's not listed as part of the update details below:

About the security content of Safari 13.1.2 - Apple Support
Installing certain Safari extensions might cause this, or even sharing your Apple ID with someone since iCloud syncs all bookmarks. The good news is that we're able to fix this by removing them.

Hello. Thanks for the reply. I was able to remove them, but my question is how they got there in the first place. They just appeared recently and I was wondering if it was due to a recent update. Thoughts?
