Hello, I have been receiving several messages with verification codes and it actually takes money from my credit! I feel like my Mobile is hacked..

I called the call center of Etisalat, and they said that it is because of FaceTime and they said that I should delete it so I did. But I received another message after awhile again with the same thing! What’s the problem? How can I stop it?

Go to Settings/Messages, tap on Send & Receive, tap on your Apple ID and sign out.

Then go to Settings/FaceTime, tap on your Apple ID, and sign out.

Sometimes just turning them off is not sufficient.

As long as you are logged in the apps will periodically send status update texts to Apple’s server in the UK. If your carrier charges for these you either need to continue paying, or not use those two services. Apple partner carriers do not charge for these texts; in fact, they are actually “silent” and you won’t know they happened. So perhaps there is another carrier that IS an Apple partner.
