My battery percentage is still 100% but there’s a message service that tells me my battery is degraded and need it to repair how is that then? thank you.

There are more ways a battery can fail other than just losing capacity. Yours is failing one of those other ways. Apple will replace the battery for $49; you need to decide if that’s a good investment.
