Try an SMC Reset.

With the older white MacBooks without a battery installed you may need to hold the power button for a second or so longer than usual or perhaps may even need to press the power button multiple times.

Try unplugging the charger from the electrical outlet for a minute to reset the charger's internal circuitry.

There may also be a problem with the charger, DC-In Board, or even Logic Board if the laptop won't power on.

If you have a first gen white MacBook with just a 32 bit Core Duo (not a Core 2 Duo), then don't spend any money on it as that first gen model has some issues. The late 2006 to 2009 Core 2 Duo models were much better.

the charger has a particular history, i ordered it from ebay by svaglio with 60w so today i bought a universal power supply and i cut the plug of the magsafe and attached it on the power supply, there is the voltage that changes from 10 to 24 volts or watts I do not remember. The macbook is 2008 with 64 bit mac os sierra processor installed on that mac
