Launchpad -- crossed out apps

I'm using 11.4 Big Sur. I have a bunch of crossed out apps on my launchpad that I'd like to get rid of. I can't delete them on the launchpad to the best of my knowledge. What do I do?

That didn't work. It turned out that I needed to open applications folder and delete them from there

Did you try clicking and holding an icon? Do they not get a little x in the corner, just like in iPhone?

you can open your applications folder and delete them from there. once that's done, they will be gone from launchpad.
